Cory Ann Hom-Weaver

Cory recently completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. She began her work with Bio-Waves during the summer of 2008 as an intern, analyzing acoustic data collected for the MISTCS project. For the past two years Cory has worked for Bio-Waves, Inc. as a research assistant on the minke whale acoustic ecology and behavior project off Kauai, HI. She worked as both a marine mammal observer and a bioacoustician during the project. Cory hopes to participate in field research off the Hawaiian Islands, and plans to enroll in a Masters program in Marine Biology.
