Elizabeth Ferguson

Liz Ferguson joined Bio-Waves Inc. in June of 2010. Liz brings with her extensive experience in marine ecological research relating to passive acoustics, in addition to science outreach and education. Liz previously worked at NOAA Fisheries, where she was a research associate in the Ecology and Marine Mammal Acoustic Programs, and served as an Outreach Coordinator. At Bio-Waves, Liz continues to be actively involved in marine mammal conservation work in addition to concentrating her efforts on developing an education division. Educational services will consist of computer-based workshops that provide practical applications to science careers, and passive acoustic training courses. In addition to her work with Bio-Waves, Liz serves as the committee co-chair for the Maritime STEM Fest and the Expanding Your Horizons San Diego Conference. Liz received her B.A. in Marine Science from the University of San Diego.
